We are the ladies of Sigma Lambda Alpha Sorority, Inc. at the University of Texas at Dallas-Zeta Chapter!  We are a sorority based on academic excellence,sisterhood, and community service. We became the FIRST Latina Sorority on campus on April 1st, 2005 by our six lovely founding mothers:

They became the first ladies to establish the UTD colony of Sigma Lambda Alpha Sorority, Inc. and achieved a goal that no one had accomplished yet at this university.



On April 8th, 2006 we became the Zeta Chapter of Sigma Lambda Alpha Sorority, Inc.  Sisters from the sorority have gone out and ventured into the world and accomplished magnificent things, providing a helping hand and enriching themselves whether it be through the Peace Corps or other non-profit work.
